NASA-Landslides

The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) landslide group at Goddard Space Flight Center, led by Dr. Dalia Kirschbaum, has been conducting research on landslide hazards from local to global scales. Leveraging remotely sensed precipitation data from the Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission (TRMM) and Global Precipitation Measurement (GPM), the work focuses on near real-time hazard assessment of landslide hazards utilizing other remotely sensed surface data and a Global Landslide Catalog developed in the group. NASA is a U.S. Government agency that focuses in aeronautics and aerospace research.
